We often desire something, but we sometimes also do not know what exactly we have in mind. Sometimes we want to go somewhere, sometimes we want to eat something delicious and sometimes we simply do not have a clue. When I do not know what I wish, it makes me mad. And I always have a feeling something is missing. Now I would really like to stay in a warm place, and I wouldn’t mind to have a fireplace near me, too

Few days ago I came across this article on Slashdot, it’s about how aliens can’t hear us, because we want to be more and more economical with energy and that’s why we have directed all signals from satellites directly to Earth, so we don’t waste energy with sending it to open space.
So that got me thinking… why SETI didn’t have any success (except WOW signal). Probably, aliens (if they exist) also became more economical during their development like us, and so they don’t send a lot of signals into outer space and that’s why SETI antennas get only static.
There could also be another reason why we don’t hear them, and that’s because they don’t use electromagnetic waves as means of communications, like we currently do. Maybe they’re transferring information using quantum teleportation that we discovered recently or maybe they discovered technology that we can’t yet imagine, because we’re form technological point of view in a stone age in comparison to them.
Modern arhitecture nowadays is all about breaking records, mostly in building heights. Here are some examples of words tallest buildings.

Some time ago we went over the pass Predel and I spotted a satellite that has a rather unusual shape for satellite dishes, so I took a picture of it.

This weekend we were in Ponikva pri Žalcu, a small settlement near Celje, where snow was falling like mad last couple of a days and today we woke up in winter fairytale.

Last Friday we took the “old” road from Žalec to Ljubljana and in Vransko we saw tire tracks going over the roundabout. Obviously someone didn’t take in account there was snow on the road and he was too fast to drive around the roundabout, so he went over it

Some time ago I came across a joke on a Facebook that I think is worth posting.
Wife is watching cookery show and her husband says “Why do you even watch these shows, when you obviously can’t cook” and she responds “why do you watch porn then”.
Today I found a link of interesting concept of 3D power socket. It offers you four additional power sockets, when you need them and so saving you valuable space that your power extension would use.
