After sightseeing in Venice, we drove to Verona, town known for Shakespeare’s tragedy Romeo and Juliet. I consider this tragedy as one of the best tragedies ever written.
When we arrived, we parked our car outside the center of Verona. Then we took a walk through the center. As we were walking, I noticed a lot of features with the origins in Medieval, which are common to the majority of Italian cities.

When we came to Juliet’s house, there was a lot of people. Then my boyfriend, who was there before, told me that there was much more sticky notes attached to the walls when he was last there, he also told me that there’s always a lot of people there. It is said, if you attach a sticky note on the wall in front of the Juliet’s house, your love will come true. And if you touch the tit of Juliet’s statue, you will have luck in your life.

We really enjoyed while sightseeing Verona. But for us it was not necessary to attach a sticky note to make our love true

I know June has just started, but I do not have any time now to publish anything as I have exams and I have to study hard. Me and my boyfriend, mostly my boyfriend
, were planning a road trip to Italy. As I love Italy, and I speak Italian too, I suggested some places to go.
On the first day of our road trip we drove through Trieste (in Slovene: Trst). We meant to stop there and take a walk, but it was raining heavily, so we headed to Treviso where we spent the night. Early in the morning we headed to Venice (Venezia/Benetke), to the town which I assume you are all familiar about. This was our first time in Venice, and we got a quite good impression, except the trash lying on the floor which bothered us. I was disappointed that citizens do not watch over their town, even if they know, the town is the tourists’ site known all over the world. After a long day, running around and sightseeing, we felt enthusiastic even though we were tired as hell.
Here are some photos we took in Venice:

About one week ago we went on a holiday (I’ll write about this trip in my next posts). After a couple of hours of driving, we stopped at a rest stop in Italy (somewhere between Venice and Verona) to go to the rest room. To reach the parking lot, we had to walk through a store, and there I saw it – Ferrero Garden. My boyfriend said we have to take them immediately. So we did, and I do not repent it!
When we reached the car, we opened them quickly and started to try the chocolates. I cannot explain the flavors. There is only one thing I wanted to say – the chocolates were exquisite
Sadly this collection of chocolates is not available in Slovenia
