Mobitel #fail

Well, what can I say. Mobitel (one of the mobile phone operators in Slovenia) has made a bad business decision. They raised the prices of most popular services, and that was not yet enough. They also had to lower the amount of packet data transfer. I am so disappointed! They could really think about this more carefully.

Slovene students’ protest

Slovene students were protesting against the new law about student’s work and many other things. Instead of protesting, they were ruining Ljubljana and the parliament. I am a student too, and I am against the new law, but still  the behavior of students today  is not acceptable. Obviously students who were there, came only to get drunk. For God’s sake, if you have the intention to get drunk, go clubbing somewhere, you should not embarrass other students! This does not happen even in other countries! Throwing stones, jelling and endangering other people only to get drunk. How immature!

Our creation: The letter of reference

Today at the class, we had a task to write a letter of reference for the Little Red Riding Hood. We were working in groups – I and two other friends, who I will not name. Here is our letter of reference:

I have known the Little Red Riding Hood since started working as a judge at my TV show Siberian Next Top Model in 2006. As a member of my jury. she is someone for whom I have the greatest respect.

During her time at the Siberian Next Top Model, Miss Little Red Riding Hood has done a lot for our TV show. She designed a fabulous furry wolfskin coat collection, in which our models had a catwalk in the woods.On a more general note, Little Red Riding Hood is creative, sociable, reliable, able to meet deadlines and she is also good at communicating with people.

Reading the description of the job as the editor of the fashion pages at Vogue, I honestly believe, Little Red Riding Hood is that kind of person you are looking for.

The best chocolate collection ever!

About one week ago we went on a holiday (I’ll write about this trip in my next posts). After a couple of hours of driving, we stopped at a rest stop in Italy (somewhere between Venice and Verona) to go to the rest room. To reach the parking lot, we had to walk through a store, and there I saw it – Ferrero Garden. My boyfriend said we have to take them immediately. So we did, and I do not repent it!

When we reached the car, we opened them quickly and started to try the chocolates. I cannot explain the flavors. There is only one thing I wanted to say – the chocolates were exquisite Sadly this collection of chocolates is not available in Slovenia

Slovene people awakening – it’s necessary!

In our history we always wanted to be independent, but even if it seems we are, we are not. However, we remained the same fools, like we were in the past. Our yokes did not disappear. Due to our government, the prices of food, prices of apartments, taxes, gas prices, etc. are rising drastically.

Let’s discuss now the problem with prices of gas in Slovenia. Since the new currency (Euro) was introduced, all things turned  more expensive than they were before. We managed to accept this, but the gas prices are “immoral”. Even if the price of the barrel of oil was dropping, the prices of gas in Slovenia were rising, and they still are. Salaries from the times of Yugoslavia have not changed a bit. Our state obviously thinks we are developing, but we seem to be  well on the road to ruin.

Slovenes, let’s rise our voices and stop being  slaves to such donkeys who are  being a part of the government. Hypocrites such as these, must be cut off.

At age 102 again in school

Who would thought some people never give up on school, so did not a 102 year old woman, named Ma Xiuxian from China. She was forced to quit school at the age of thirteen, because she needed a job. When she turned 18, she got married and bore 9 children. Only two of her children did not graduate.

She regreted all her life she quit school. Now she decided to follow her dreams and finish school. She listens to the lectures with help of a hearing aid. How amazing, isn’t it??

Nice day… but not for long

Today the sunshine woke me up and I felt really nice. I thought this is going to be a really nice day, but it was not for long. You probably know how it feels like when you get an unpleasant  phone call. You wish you would not answer. And that was the exact thing it happened to me – I  finished the call in the middle of the conversation. Instantly, I felt calm again Obviously it helps  to make others’ life harder.

The moment of truth

The moment of truth is a translation of a Slovenian show, originally named Trenutek resnice on TV3. Sincerely, I find this show really sick. Asking people about their own life, and not about general things, but about deep secrets that even people around them do not know for them. I think the television only wants to gain immense numbers of viewers.

In fact, those people by participating this show are really stupid. I do not know why they “sell themselves” for the money. I think it is better to work hard through our lives, and not hurt others feelings by revealing your secrets.

I feel symphaty…

…for those who lie. Lies are not the best way to get what you want. People lie just to cover things up, but lying causes a lot of disappointment. I won’t deny I lie sometimes just for not hurting  someone. But lying all the time really hurts. I am often facing with a problem such as this. I sometimes do not know what to believe. I do not know what to do. Should I remain silent or should I give a lecture?

I do not like to be used, so do others probably. Who lies all the time to their loving ones really does not have a face. I dislike such hypocrites. And when you ask them for a favour, they just reply they do not have time for you. Why should be kind with such people? I won’t let someone using me.

In all bad things that happen, you can see a new start, even if others oppose you and want to make peace. No! Now I am determined to make my life easier than it is now. Who does not understand lying is not good and it brings much worse consequences after a while, should stop for a moment and look into their soul.

Laptops can be used as a dustpan?!

Have you ever heard about this? I did not. I do not even imagine why would people use their laptops which are not so cheap as a dustpan. I would not do such thing. Someone also came up with the idea to use laptops as pan.
