Last weekend we were in Bovec, the town mostly known by the mountain Kanin, on which you can go skiing and by the river Soča. This small town seems so peaceful in this period of year, but it won’t be any longer, because the New Year is close, and a lot of tourists come to celebrate to Bovec.
I came from there, so I know a lot of places you can visit, so I suggested to my boyfriend to go somewhere, even if there was snow. We dressed up warmly and drove to different places, and of course we didn’t forget our camera.
Here you can see how the winter idyll looks like in Bovec:

When you come on the top of stairs, you see the lake from the creek Gljun. From the dam made, we produce electricity. Here you see the lake:

Then we went to the source of the creek Gljun, where I collected some moss for the Christmas crib. It was freezing and windy. My hands turned almost into ice cubes
, but the surrounding made us to forget about the weather. While I was collecting moss, my boyfriend took some photos of the source, which average temperature is only 5,5°C.

After that we went to take some photos of the river Soča to catch the emerald colour of the water. We took the photographs near villages Žaga and Log Čezsoški. While I was standing on a bridge to take a photo, the wind almost blow me away.
This river is one of the most beautiful rivers in Slovenia, do you think that, too?
