April 2010 Roadtrip: Italy, Venice

I know June has just started, but I do not have any time now to publish anything as I have exams and I have to study hard. Me and my boyfriend, mostly my boyfriend , were planning a road trip to Italy. As I love Italy, and I speak Italian too, I suggested some places to go.

On the first day of our road trip we drove through  Trieste (in Slovene: Trst). We meant to stop there and take a walk, but it was raining heavily, so we headed to Treviso where we spent the night. Early in the morning we headed to Venice (Venezia/Benetke), to the town which I assume you are all familiar about. This was our first time in Venice, and we got a quite good impression, except the trash lying on the floor which bothered us. I was disappointed that citizens do not watch over their town, even if they know, the town is the tourists’ site known all over the world. After a long day, running around and sightseeing, we felt enthusiastic even though we were tired as hell.
